junior and Karen's best friend. He works at the local record
store. He watches anime as an idle pastime, but is not as fanatic
about it as Karen. When Karen falls short of her monthly rent,
he's usually the one bailing her out. Isn't he a nice guy? |

Tanis- 21 yrs. old, college
junior, Karen and Sirus's friend. She is very organized, outgoing,
and social. However, she has a personal vendetta against the
internet, which she sees as being the modern incarnation of all
that is evil. |

Cloe- 20 yrs. old, college
drop-out, Tanis's friend. Cloe is the reason Tanis hates the
internet as much as she does. She is on her computer almost twenty-four
hours a day. She only has one phoneline, so it is almost impossible
to get ahold of her, short of smoke signals or bodily dragging
her out of the house. She also never voluntarily leaves her house. |

Cream Puff, the All-Powerful Oni-
An immortal demon that exploded out of Karen's computer. He grants
any wishes that Karen has, but the results always have a twist
in them. His and Sirus's personalities clash on a regular basis,
and whatever you do, don't piss off the oni! |
